SOCIAL CHAIR

Social Chair (External) for Delta Zeta

I led the planning and execution of large-scale social events and mixers, helping expand our chapter’s presence beyond campus. I was the first social chair in the chapter to set up mixers with other universities, including the University of Chicago, Northwestern, and Loyola, which meant doing the outreach, coordinating across organizations, and building real working relationships. I handled the full planning process from coming up with ideas and reaching out, to scheduling, getting approvals, and running the events. To stay organized, I created monthly content and event calendars and worked closely with executive board members and other chairs to align on budgets, logistics, branding, and risk management. Because every event needed approval, collaboration and clear communication were a big part of the role, and I regularly worked with multiple stakeholders to take ideas from concept to execution.

This position highlights my ability to lead with initiative, build partnerships across institutions, and manage complex projects that balance creativity, structure, and collaboration.
